new (chapter) book!

If you saw this photo in my last post, you may have been spying on the illustrations around me and wondering about them… well, here it is!

Hooray! I’m so excited to be able to share one of the projects I’ve been working on this year. I have finally been able to illustrate a chapter book! This has long been a dream of mine and I was so thrilled when Graffeg reached out to me earlier this year and asked me to illustrate a novel by one of their authors. I loved the manuscript when I read it and was thrilled to provide a full-color cover and 6 black-and-white illustrations for inside. Today, I can share that it is coming at the end of this month! I’ll likely show more of it once I get to hold if for myself, but for now, check out the cover for Rory Bean and the Reluctant Ghosts by Trudie Thomas coming October 26, 2026:
